April 4 - The weather people were wrong again! We could have moved on before now. The bad weather that was predicted to blow through on Tuesday did not happen. It was just a cloudy day.
Wednesday was a little windier than we wanted so we decided it's best to just head into a marina and not try to anchor. Josh and I already had a slip at Palafox so Al, Kay, Curtis and Diane were going to see if they could get in a day earlier or go to Barber's marina then on to Palafox the next day. It worked out that we were all able to go to Palafox, and Sam and Pat decided to stay an extra day so all four Texas boats were together again.
Bye bye to The Wharf
This is a Texas fishing boat that came into The Wharf. Really nice people. They went out fishing for an overnighter and came back with alot of fish! They gave me a bag of fresh Tuna. Yummy, yummy, yummy!
This is a place I would like to trailer our Whaler to and play on all the beaches. Maybe a good trip for our grandkid!!!!!!
The Blue Angels practice on Tuesdays and Wednesdays so as we were coming into Pensacola Bay we had a fantastic air show. What a great welcoming!

After we settled in at Palafox marina, Josh and I took our bikes down and rode to Joe Patti's for ice cream. How I missed this place!
April 5 - Our time together with our original boating group is coming to an end. Tomorrow M/V Cambria and S/V Sweet Tides will continue on to Panama City and then the crew of M/V Cambria will hop on S/V Sweet Tides to do the crossing to Tampa Bay and then head to the Bahamas. Sam and Pat will stick around for another day to pick up a new sail that is being delivered here and then head off to Panama City. We will stay in Pensacola until after Daniel's graduation.
Farewell cocktails!
