Our big summer trip was supposed to take us from Clear Lake to Mobile Alabama, up the Tenn-Tom and back to Clear Lake for total of six weeks. A lot of work went into the planning for this trip but due to the BP Oil spill it was cancelled this year!
Because we had the time already allocated and it was summer vacation for Daniel, we changed the plan and headed the other direction! We started off on June 14, 2010 and traveled down to Corpus Christi and back. Several of our friends were already down in Rockport prior to our departure date and also heading for Corpus Christi, so we decided to try and catch up to the rest of the group. The plan was to meet in Corpus Christi on June 19th, spend several days together before most of the boats started heading back to Clear Lake.
