All seven of us headed out from the Lake Charles marina around
7:30 AM and six of us arrived at the Mermentau River anchorage around 3:30
PM. Stardust arrived before us, scoped
the area out and provided us with information.
We had light comfortable winds, went through the Calcasieu Locks with no
problems and had a very relaxing day.
This is a beautiful, protected anchorage and we all got a good night’s
sleep.
