April 2, 2016 Lake Charles to the Mermentau River

Finally we have some good weather so we can move on!  It was cold and chilly in the morning but it turned out to be a beautiful day like they said it would be.  We saw an alligator swimming across the ICW and two snakes swimming toward us.  I could not get pictures of the snakes because by the time I got my camera out they were gone.

Bye bye Lake Charles!

Steak night!

What a gorgeous, peaceful, beautiful anchorage!  One of my favorite spots.  I could stay for a couple of days if the weather was nice.

Shower time!
