A
front went through during the night so we woke to cool and cloudy weather. We will be staying in Pensacola for a week so
Josh started his day looking into the best car rental deal he could get for
something that would carry six adults. I
took advantage of some free time and did two loads of laundry and then cleaned
up the boat a bit. Internet has been a
big pain in the butt on this trip. If a
marina states that it has free Wi-Fi, don’t believe it! The only time that I had good internet so far
was at LuLu’s (but just for two days).
On the third day I was unable to do anything so I will only be blogging
if and when I can! Around noon the sky
cleared and it turned into a beautiful day.
At 1:00 PM all the guys headed out to pick up our rent car. We will have the afternoon to explore a
little around the town and to find a place to have a nice dinner. We were told to check out a place called Joe
Patti’s and I am so glad we did. The
place is amazing! They have every type
of seafood you can imagine for purchase, fresh baked breads, a small grocery
store with unique items, fresh baked desserts and ice cream to die for. We will definitely go back several times
during our stay. It’s not far from the marina where we are staying so we can
work off the delicious food by riding our bikes.
